WAY too long! I'm sorry! Things got really busy around here and a lot of people have been coming and going. Things are finally settling down a little bit but who knows how long that'll last.
It's the least we can do. So many people are feeling down right now the longer things happen and CERES stays away. Maybe we should come up with a way to make more people feel better?
I'm sure you could come up with some great ideas! But hmm...usually when my friends are down we get together for a party. I don't know if anybody's really in a party mood though but it's one way to boost spirits don't you think?
I don't see why not, it seems like a perfect plan to me! But now we need to figure out where to place it! But maybe we can have it in the garden where it's huge so anyone can come in!
A garden party sounds like a great idea! We could even make it like a picnic and everybody can bring something to share with everyone else and we can set up games and everything.
Of course, I'll even try and see if I can bring some snacks as well! I'll see you there!
[And with that, off they went! Should Rise look around, she'll happen to see one young blond boy with his Digimon somewhere in the garden! Although, while he brought some potato chips, she'll also happen to see it's half full after Patamon ate most of it]
[Patamon, what are they going to do with you? She's quick to gather a few things (and some onigiri) into her purse before she takes off for the resident gardens, footsteps light as she keeps an eye out for the boy.
Truthfully, she finds Patamon first and that alone is what causes her to pause. The boy with the Digimon...well. Sure, he resembles Takeru. He resembles Takeru a lot if she hadn't been firmly sure that Takeru was only seven years old. Her approach is more cautious but she's trying not to look perturbed as she steps up and peers at the boy and his Digimon.]
...I feel like I missed something pretty big here.
[As soon as he saw the familiar girl walking up to him, he was about to say something. After all, it would be rude to not greet her when she gone the trouble to set up an activity with him! Although, before he could say anything, that's when he caught a glimpse of her expression.
At first, he was rather confused by what she meant but it didn't take him that long to realize what was going on.]
...Sorry, Rise-chan, I didn't tell you that I went back home did I?
[Because you know. Going from seven to ten years old is quite the jump!]
Not exactly. [That sure is a jump, but she's used to weird things by now. She wastes little time settling down next to him and Patamon, giving him a thoughtful look as she takes in all of the changes.] But I also didn't think to ask. When did this happen?
[Well, he sure feel guilty right now. While he didn't publicly say anything about him returning, it just felt like there were more important things to say at the moment]
[She almost looks shocked by the question.] Why would I be mad? CERES is the one who took you out of here and brought you back! If we should be mad at anyone it's them. Were other people upset?
No, they weren't but it still didn't seem very fair that I didn't tell you what happened. But there were a lot of things going on that...I just didn't know when it would be a good time to tell.
This place is always crazy. [Much to her displeasure...] Don't worry, this...is probably as good a time as any. At least we know we're both ourselves and not under the influence of something else, right? A lot of people are telling me new things lately.
[Thanks Rei.] ...what about your friend? Hikari-san? What did she say?
Probably not, but weirder things have happened here. [She's teasing mostly, but she can imagine the surprise. Then again...] "Was?" Did she leave and come back different, too?
I've never understood how Cerealia decides who stays and who goes to get an upgrade. But at least you're both safe...that's what matters, right? [She smiles.] Anyway...let's see what we can plan out, huh?
Re: text;
He's been doing good! I think the better question is how have you been doing? It's been a while hasn't it, Rise-san?

[He said with a smirk on his face] It isn't everyday that she gets to see her best friend suddenly grow a few feet taller than her, now is it?
